Time: 7:30am - 9:00am
Location: Woolfort's Roost
Speaker: Jay Mooreland

7:30 am - 8:00 - Breakfast

8:00 am - 9:00 am - Mr. Mooreland's presentation will discuss a few common biases that influence financial decisions such as overconfidence, representativeness, myopia and status quo. These biases individually and combined may influence individuals to put off financial planning or serious consideration about future decisions. Attorneys that understand how these biases influence our choices will be in a position to help their clients understand the importance of financial planning in ways they can relate to. In addition, the presentation will discuss how perception influences our beliefs and opinions, and that by understanding their clients perceptions, attorneys will have the tools to create more targeted and effective plans for their clients.
